Bishop Eric Rustand
Bishop & Sister Rustand
Born and raised in Tucson to U of A graduate parents, Eric went away to BYU on a golf scholarship and served a mission in the Madrid, Spain mission. After his mission he met the love of his life and sweetheart at Family Home Evening of his student ward in Tina Corbett from Spokane, WA.
Eric played golf in college and after being named an All-American in 1994-95, Eric and Tina embarked on an 8 year professional golf career throughout Asia and the US. Eric played the golf but Tina did everything else caddying, managing, travel planning and working for the Asian PGA Tour for a period of time until their first child came along. Eric and Tina are parents to 4 amazing kids, Austin, Abbey, Caroline and Jackson. Although the kids don’t live in Tucson any more, Eric and Tina love to travel and spend time with the whole family.
Rustand Family
“I love my Savior Jesus Christ and appreciate all He has done for me. I will try and live His gospel each and every day. As I fall short, I seek to repent and change to become what he knows I can be. Two quotes that drive a lot of my life decisions are “Work hard, Be Obedient and Love People,” and “Comparison is the thief to happiness.” The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true as I have tested it myself. My heart, might and mind is committed to my Heavenly Father, and through the grace and mercy found in the Atonement of Jesus Christ I hope to live with them and my family for all eternity.
I hope each of you find the same to be true.”
