YSA Gathering Place
Where Young Single Adults throughout Tucson, ages 18-35, can gather together through social activities, institute classes, ward events, special interest clubs and food. Located in the Institute of Religion building at the University of Arizona campus, YSAs can strengthen their relationship with God, grow closer to one another, and become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.

Camp Zion Campout
Friday, May 22nd starting at 5:30pm - Saturday morning, May 23rd
What’s the purpose of this activity? We will be helping set up the tents that various stakes and wards will use for YW Camps this summer. There will be other small projects we can assist with. ALSO, fun! It’s a great way to get to know everyone better and have some time in Tucson’s beautiful pine-filled mountains.
Who is it for? Anyone in the YSA age group (18-35) from any ward or stake in Tucson area. Friends are welcome!
Where do we go? It’s at Camp Zion on Mt. Lemmon!
When is it? People are welcome to come Friday May 22 anytime after 3:00. Dinner will be served at 7pm, but come when you can! The activity ends Saturday morning after breakfast/tent completion
What should I bring? Flashlight, jacket, warm layers, a sleepingbag/bedroll/pillow, toiletries. Keep it simple but warm! Also, a supersoaker water gun if you have one!
What’s for dinner and breakfast? Good things, we absolutely promise!! Bring snacks if you’re stressed or want to share something, but plan on keeping it tucked away in the lodge. We love YSA helping with the cooking!
What are the planned activities? Setting up tents, eating good food, and visiting. There will also be volleyball/basketball available, board games, etc available. Or, just enjoy the stars and nature!
What are the sleeping arrangements? YSA can sleep in the camp’s tents or in the lodge
Can we carpool? That’s great, parking is limited. Reach out to your YSA1&2 wards for info!
How many people will be there? That depends on you! In years past, there have been as few as 15 and up to 45. More people means less work and more fun and friends!
